How it works:
The trackIR™ Dot mode is a favorite
of many users. You just put an adhesive dot on any movable part of your body (or
on your eyeglass frame, etc.). Dot Mode allows you to control your computer’s
cursor by simply turning your head (or other movable part of your body) to look at any point on the monitor
screen. This mode is described as being “more intuitive than a
mouse” by many because it uses your natural head motion to perform
normal mouse functions.
The trackIR™ Ring lets you control your computer’s cursor
without taking your hands off the keyboard. When you slip on the Ring,
the trackIR™ locks onto your finger, allowing you to perform
all typical mouse functions by simply aiming your finger at any point
on your monitor screen and clicking with your user defined Hot Keys.
The trackIR™ Ring also incorporates a scroll function, which is
handy for browsing web pages and text documents.
Options:
Dwell Clicking: The NaturalPoint trackIR's Dwell clicking feature gives total hands-free control of the computer. One can left-click, right-click, double-click and drag by simply holding the cursor still (dwelling) on an icon or button.
