	Much research has gone into designing effective one-handed keyboards, but most require adaptations; for example, the user may have to learn chord typing. However, the Matias Half Keyboard makes use of the touch-typing skills you may already have, delivering all the functionality of a full-sized board in half the space.

Our Half Keyboard technology allows you to type with one hand, using your standard touch-typing skills.

How does it work?

You type with your left hand, just like you would on a normal keyboard.  Except, the spacebar also works like a shift key. Holding it down gets you the letters of the missing half of the keyboard.  Hitting the spacebar alone still types a space.
