Dear Clair,
I am unforgivably delayed in putting my thanks into writing, for your contribution of Dragon Dictate
for Windows and two days of tutoring for the staff and the Center.
This is an extremely valuable contribution and is something that we use every week, in working
with people who are trying to make difficult decisions about adaptive technology.
Your assistance in keeping us up to date and acting as a tutoring resource are greatly appreciated,
especially as voice input technology changes.

Clair,
Thanks for taking the time to come out and install Dragon - and thanks for the donation of the Dragon
for Windows Classic Edition software. We truly
appreciated it.

Dear Mr. Calhoon:
Thank you very much for your generous gift to the High Tech Center at Diablo Valley College. Your gift
will benefit many students using assistive technology so that they can access education or retrain for
competitive employment. It is nice to know that there are people and companies in our community that
recognize the importance of state of the art technology as crucial training tools in education. Thank you
again for your generosity.

Dear ________,
I apologize for not writing sooner, but my RSI has kept me in agonyIve just
been too sore to write sooner.
But yesterday, WorkLink installed a Dragon system on my computer. With it I
talk, and the words appear on the screen I dont have to use my hands at all!
This will be great for school, and of course, writing to you.
I now have a second chance at life.

Dear Clair:
I cant tell you how much I appreciate DragonDictate for Windows. I can now do
UNIX programming via an Ethernet link, using X-windows, by talking into my PC.
I am actually using the software on my UNIX machine, but everything appears on my PC
screen.
Before I got Dragon, I could only type using one finger, and that with considerable
difficulty owing to my ALS. Now I can continue working as long as I can talk.
Thanks again,
George

Dear Clair:
Dragon NaturallySpeaking is fantastic!
I can do my appraisal reports using NatSpeak in no time at all using just my voice. Ive found
that I can go several paragraphs without a misrecognition, and at almost 250 words per
minute (I use a lot of boilerplate!).
I know this sounds fast, but the vocabulary is relatively small in the property
appraising field, so my words are well trained. And of course you know how fast I talk
anyway!
